Ground Rules

Overview


All persons entering the ground must comply with the rules below. Failure to do so may result in being asked to leave the ground and banned from attending any future events at the ground. 

These rules apply to any Hanwell Town FC matches as well as any other game played by other clubs at our ground.

Admission, and the right to remain within the ground, is on condition that all persons conform with the following rules. Entry to the ground constitutes all person’s acceptance of these rules. 


Rules

 

  • Persons must comply with any legal directions given by our Stewards or any Club Official
  • Persons must not enter the field of play before, during or after the game
  • The following articles must not be brought into the ground: Knives, Fireworks, Smoke canisters, Air-horns, Flares and Laser devices
  • The throwing of any missile, object or projectile is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: Bottles, Glass vessels, Cans or any article that might be used as a weapon and / or compromise public safety
  • All persons seeking entrance to the ground acknowledge the Club's right to search any person entering the ground and to refuse entry to, or eject from the ground, any person refusing to submit to such a search
  • Any person found to be in possession of any of the above items will be refused entry and be subject to a subsequent ban from the ground
  • Persons may not enter the ground in possession of alcohol or drugs
  • Any drinks purchased on the premises may only be taken outside if served in a plastic glass
  • Alcohol may not be consumed by / around the pitch in FA Cup, Trophy or Vase matches
  • Smoking is not permitted inside the Club House under any circumstances
  • The following behaviour is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate ejection and subsequent ban from the ground:
  • The use of threatening behaviour, foul or abusive language
  • Racial, homophobic or discriminatory abuse, chanting or harassment
  • No goods, including literature, of any nature may be offered either free or for sale by any person within the ground without the express written permission of the Club

 

We also remind persons that: 

  • All emergency exits, walkways and approaches to the ground must be always kept clear 
  • Whilst we allow well behaved dogs within the ground, owners are required to act responsibly by always keeping their dogs on a lead and clean up after them
  • CCTV cameras are in use around and in the ground. The Club may itself use or pass to the Police / Football Authorities / Other Clubs recordings for use in any proceedings.
  • The Club photographs and records matches for both internal and external use. Again, admission constitutes a person’s acceptance of the publication of such media. 
  • No guarantees can be given by the Club that a match will take place at a particular time or on a particular date and the Club reserves the right to reschedule any match without notice and without any liability whatsoever

 

The Club Committee reserves the right to:

  • Refuse admission to any person without explanation
  • Amend, add to or update these rules as and when necessary
